Opinions on Troll vs. FOX or Rock Dragon
I would like anyone's experienced opinions on the Troll MDV vs. FOX Vtec vs. Rock Dragon(vented). I have a FOX 265 Vtec w/covers with around 70 jumps and I am looking to upsize to the 285ish range. According to the Atair website a Troll 265 flies/packs up like a 290??? It's in the way they measure it?? Any thoughts on these canopies would be great, thanks.

Re: [tsrbsbd] Opinions on Troll vs. FOX or Rock Dragon
due to the measurement system used - a Troll 265 is more like a 280,

*

205 ft.2 = PIA spec 219
*

225 ft.2 = PIA spec 240
*

245 ft.2 = PIA spec 260
*

265 ft.2 = PIA spec 282
*

290 ft.2 = PIA spec 309

I jump a Troll MDV 265 and found it great in the UK environment (sub300) (I only ever jumped a dagger before this though (in the same environment), so my opinion maybe warped!)

We are so lucky . . .

At one time this question would have been. "I would like anyone's opinions on the Cruislite vs. Pegasus vs. Unit."

Do you have any slider up experience with it? Would I be correct in assuming that it also packs around the same size as a 280? Thanks for the input.

If you're light the Bruiselight is a good BASE canopy if you add few crossportsWink A buddy of mine this year had a premature brake release at BD and landed, stood it up on rears right on the LZ with a Bruiselight Shocked
