how many jumps each year?
just read a thread mentioning someone with 650+ BASE jumps. it got me wondering... what is a good year, in terms of number of jumps?

The most I've done in one year is a little over 300. I'd bet that Douggs or TM has done several hundred more in a year.

Holy $h*t!! Was that 300 mostly at your local span or was that just a year you where doing the traveling BASE thing?
I did my first BASE jump at BD '99....I've only got 10 under my belt 5 years later. Sad, so sad.

I was living in California. The majority were off about 5 regular objects there. I'd guess I jumped 70 or 80 different objects, all told, that year.

Isn't there a chap who jumps at TF who did 650 jumps in one summer. He was in Norway for the Heli-boogie this summer and told me about this. He would get up at the sparrows fart of dawn and do 4 jumps every morning. Meeker

That's the TM I referenced in my original reply.
I know I did his 1200th with him around mid summer this year, and he did his 1500th just before leaving town, so he had to do well more than 300 here this year.
