Hey, does anyone know if the bridge in TF is jumpable late in November? Specifically, is the climb out of the canyon snowed out generally? I know there are a couple of locals up there... any chance on getting an email address to get a local eyeball check before I waste a 10 hour drive from Central California?

I dont know if the bridge is jumpable, but i do know there is going to be a huge boogie at Moab. You should think about going there instead. You can get info on it, on the vertigo base web site. they are sponsering it and it should be geat fun.

Unless you're still working on gaining enough BASE experience to jump the cliffs with more reasonable margins of safety and comfort. Vertigo recommends 30 jumps prior to the Turkey boogie. Confidence in your pack job, body position, ability to deal with off heading openings, and landing near obstacles is mandatory.

Short answer: Yes.

Long Answer: It's cold, sometimes windy and potentially stormy here by that time of year. It snowed a little this weekend, but nothing is sticking yet. I'd bet that if you are willing to take a little cold, you can make some jumps that weekend. Be aware, though, that almost all the locals will be out of town, so there is a good chance you'll be jumping alone much of the time.
