370m / 1200ft

The flight itself was rather poor (3rd day of heavy partying, noticeably impaired balance and judgement)... but it takes a bad flight to make a good video Wink

On a serious note - this is another example of an unintentional low wingsuit pull, that could have been very painful over solid ground. Please watch out, it's very easy to get carried away trying to reach the target in a wingsuit!!!

No. A very old S3 prototype.

Oh. I assumed that you did that on purpose. Good to point out that even such highly-experienced jumpers can make dangerous mistakes.

Be careful dude...

Re: [outrager] Pond flight
I as well thought this was an intentional stunt. Well, It's then worth noticing that even the best of the flyers can get it nearly wrong. I suppose that the water surface makes the no-ground-rush-effect even more pronounced and more difficult to judge height loss when the vertical speed is slow.

Exactly, and it's also the usual cause of the skydiving fatalities where someone cuts away over water - they tend to cut away too high because of misjudging their altitude.
